VZT: How did
you get started in the travel industry?
I loved traveling as a child, and thought – why not become a travel
agent? This industry is constantly changing, it keeps me on my toes. It
has it’s challenges and rewards!
VZT: Okay – so how long have you been in the
position you are now?
I’ve been in the travel industry since 1991. I thoroughly enjoy my
clients.The past 3 ½ years at Van Zile
have been great!
VZT: Where have you been and what is your favorite
destination?
I have traveled throughout the US and Caribbean, including Hawaii and
Alaska. I’ve also been on many cruises, and traveled to the UK. I’m a
kid at heart, I love amusement Parks, Disney World is at the top of my
list. I’ve been 13+ times and going again in August!
VZT: What is the strangest thing that has
happened to you at work?
A while back I had this couple booking a wonderful vacation to
Australia. I mentioned that they needed a passport and an Australian
Visa…their response was….what if we use our Mastercard? I thought it
was cute!
VZT: What do you do with your free time?
I love spending time with my family, I also enjoy shopping, cooking and
gardening. Did I say shopping?

I live in Webster, I’m married to a wonderful man, I have two awesome
kids, Connor age 6 ½ - and Tess, age 4 ~ cat – Casey – and a Beta fish
named Cosmo!
